Cuando en el taller se estropea una m\u00e1quina importante, cuando en el almac\u00e9n no aparece el pedido principal, cuando en la oficina Windows vuelve a hacer de las suyas, cuando en el autob\u00fas ya no quedan asientos o en el cine no hay m\u00e1s entradas que en la primera fila, el Payaso viene y suelta un chiste, una chanza, un chascarrillo risue\u00f1o. Nos hace, por un instante, part\u00edcipes de su optimismo sin fin. El Payaso es importante, aunque despreciable y despreciado com\u00fanmente.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.martademarte.com\/diarioclown\/wp-content\/uploads\/demode.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3092\" title=\"demode\" src=\"http:\/\/www.martademarte.com\/diarioclown\/wp-content\/uploads\/demode.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"301\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Un Payaso nunca ser\u00e1 presidente del gobierno. Un Payaso nunca nos meter\u00e1 en una guerra injusta, ni meter\u00e1 la mano en bolsillo ajeno por m\u00e1s que viva en Marbella. Un Payaso jam\u00e1s prohibir\u00e1 abortar a una ni\u00f1a de catorce a\u00f1os violada por un perturbado mental. Un payaso nunca considerar\u00eda que hay ciudadanos de primera y ciudadanos de segunda. Ojal\u00e1 gobernase un payaso.<\/p>\n<p>Pero claro, al payaso es f\u00e1cil olvidarlo, condenarlo al ostracismo, apartarlo de nosotros. Cuando ya nos hemos re\u00eddo, cuando ya no es necesario, lo ignoramos. Y eso le duele. Dice algo en serio y todos creen que es una broma y, entonces, llega la tragedia. La gente se r\u00ede cuando habla sobre algo grave. La gente le dice que es un pesado, un plasta, que habla mucho, que siempre est\u00e1 con bromas. Apartamos al payaso.<\/p>\n<p>Y el payaso llora, pero nadie se da cuenta. Sus l\u00e1grimas salen a chorro, chilla de dolor y angustia, pero el p\u00fablico ya est\u00e1 mirando al otro lado de la pista o, peor a\u00fan, se r\u00eden a mand\u00edbula batiente. Hasta que el payaso se retira, hace mutis, sale del escenario y se pierde.<\/p>\n<p>Cada vez que un payaso siente esto, muere un poquito y, llegado el momento, morir\u00e1 del todo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurre entonces? Todos echan de menos al payaso, pero \u00e9ste ya no existe. Su rostro gracioso se ha perdido para siempre. Sus cejas ya no est\u00e1n enarcadas, sino rectas, paralelas al horizonte. Lanzan una sombra siniestra sobre sus ojos, que ya no son redondeados, sino el\u00edpticos. Ya no brillan como antes, sino que ahora refulgen en un tono m\u00e1s rojizo. Sus labios ya no est\u00e1n entreabiertos y formando una luna con los cuernos hacia arriba, sino que est\u00e1n cerrados, apretados quiz\u00e1, formando un semic\u00edrculo en sentido contrario. Sus manos ya no gesticulan, sino que est\u00e1n quietas, con los dedos entrelazados, o metidas dentro de los bolsillos. Tiene el ment\u00f3n m\u00e1s alto, nos muestra su garganta, nos mira amenazador. El tono de su voz, estridente, chill\u00f3n, de palabras r\u00e1pidas, se ha tornado m\u00e1s bajo, \u00e1spero y cruel.<\/p>\n<p>Todos se preguntan qu\u00e9 ha ocurrido.<\/p>\n<p>Han matado al payaso.<\/p>\n<p>No dej\u00e9is que eso ocurra a vuestro alrededor.
